This week was all about GOALS! We made some SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Timely) about our website. For instance, we decided that we would have 4 book-related quizzes that would be coded in Python. Our site will be ready for testing on March 5th, at which point we will be checking everything for usability and functionality.
Kayla switched her project over to Python so that she can be ready to code some quizzes and a chat-box that lets users learn more about new books read. Charlotte is still taking a look at API's and Interactive Magazines and will hopefully incorporate one of these into the home page. Emily is chugging away at her Chatbot on Trinket so that she can make an interview page that will help us learn more about readers. And Ms. Kate is brushing up on her HTML/CSS skills from last year, because if you don't use those skills, ya lose 'em, folks. Especially when you get old. :-) We've also been having some holiday fun at BML GWC! Last week, we decorated holiday cookies and a gingerbread house. It was a delicious celebration of the holiday season! Happy Holidays and Happy New Year from the BML GWC chapter!
